hello all,
my pace ditv 1000 is not coming on. it says 'Pace' in the display and is stuck there. i have read somewhere that i need to take out the red jumper for a few minutes then put back and put the machine on. i have tried but with no luck.

please help

You have now lost your net id by pulling jumper, you may have lost it before you did that anyway which could have been why it was displaying pace, if you check in eng menu net id will be 09999, read the funcard net id tut in the sticky top of cable tv chat, tells you how to reset it, net id list is in eurovox section.

but i cant bring up the eng menu. i am holding channel up+down and then power the thing.

It is a pace ditv 1000. anybody knows how to access the eng menu?

Can take a couple of tries to access eng menu mate. up/down and power up is the way. (Not switching on and off!)

oh i see. i will try again. however it is 'stuck' with Pace on the display and the only way to switch off is to power off the main! the power button is not doing anything at the moment.

any tips guys?

That is how to do it. Off at the mains, hold in up/gown and turn mains on.

I also have a 1000 stuck on Pace,can't access the E.M.

I have read the above posts hence the reason for my post.Have tried the posts about the buttons and can't access the E.M. also cleaned the sim but no difference, so any tips may be a help.

hi jon yes keep buttons pressed till blue screen comes up it takes a few goes, if still then i think you can reboot box by press OK,LEFT,TV but ask red if this is correct before you try
