Default Eurovox Max 2008

Need help.. my friends box was working fine for couple of weeks and yesterday the box went all faulty, comes up with a blank screen and no lights showing on front panel? and you can here a sizzling in the background of tv.. any suggestions on what the problem can be?

Do you think the box is powering up and the front panel is blank, or do you think it's not powering up at all?

You could try to flash the firmware with the UFL and see if it detects the box - I can certainly get it fixed for you if all else fails

*Lincsat* - just had a look at the box, the display screen is blank and no lights on front panel, all the box is doing is making a sizzling loud noise, probably the fan.

Any suggestions n how to solve this problem, cheers mate

If it's sizzling, it's likely the PSU and would need returning.
