In my admittedly limited experiance.I have found that a new patch works for awhile. Then stops. Then it is softcams to keep it going until the next patch.
It happened to me today.1w went black at 10.05.The latest softcam has opened some channels on 19.2e. but not my favorites on 1w.

I don't know.On the site that I got the softcam from, It said to disable polsat and didgi au in the options menu.I am on a learning curve too.As for putting keys in manually.that is deffinitly a no go area for me.

It's usually all over Alsat when something stops updating, there are regular softcam files released there too. When a patch stops A/U'ing, you can often update the keys with the softcam.

When the A/U gets fixed there will be a new patch available - have you updated the patch since you've had it? That's probably the first thing to try
