Thanks gadgetfiend! Spot on mate. I will let you know how i get on.
Just to clarify, your saying i need to have a length of coax from the isolator to the splitter and it not being a case of the splitter connects straight to the isolator? |

One last thing before i saunter on down to Maplin. What are the connectors/nuts on the end on the actual cable i will need? Not the F connectors the ones that screw into to the actual f connector. Looking at my modem cable, it has the cable and a nut/connector on the end of it which holds the cable in place and then THAT screws into the f connector. My point being once the cable is stripped, i couldnt put a loose wire in the f connector, i would need to put something on the end to feed the wire through and then into the f connector. So i will need those as well? What are they/
Shopping list so far- 5-1000 or 2-2400 MHZ 2 way splitter 10-15 metres of FT100/CT100 coax cable X4 f connectors X4 unknown cable to f connector connectors Have i missed anything? |

theres no unknown fittings you just need the f connectors m8 did you check the link i put up for fitting an f connector. The ones you have already on your modem cable are proper cable company f-connectors and look different thats all.
