Default Digital TV Card Question

Hi All,
New to thai part of forum, looking for help and advice.
I would like to know if I fit a digital tv card to pc and connect ntl cable etc can I pick up the channels.

Yes, technotrend 1500c seems popular from here (spare pci slot required), I see they have a 1501c, not sure of the difference. I assume that you get your bb from vm so have a live feed? if so post back I am sure we will soon have you up and running.

Yes, NThell live connection but no box / de-coder etc.
I was hoping to install a good digital tv card in pc and pick up all the channels, is this possible or am I dreaming

Yes very possible, I'ts quite easy with a softcam and a cable card! If I were you I would try with the technotrend, if you wanted a more sophisticated system later you could still use this card as a second tuner, or sell it very easily! I would suggest - ProgDvb 4.85.3 as your software (free), look in thread - progdvb memory leak, post five and download that codec (it should still be avalable). post back if you decide to buy a card and most people around here will advise further.

btw when you say NThell, is this for BB?

i've been using my technisat dvbc pci card for 3 years now without any trouble and its easy to set-up.

my current set-up is progdvb ver 4.56.2 and win xp.

I have to say DVB Dream runs perfectly, I tried Progdvb found it to buggy.
I would give both a try but im sure you will prefer DVB Dream
