250 Modem Help!
Hi,
Got Infinite Stealth Ambit 250 today... All the firmware was done, i just need to do the mac address etc Tried & Tried to get it working but everytime i reboot the modem after entering all the details... it says Refused by CMTS Even changed the Hacked modem serial number to my mac address/legit modem serial number, but no change Log Errors: DHCP FAILED - Discover sent, no offer received TFTP failed - request sent - No Response Anyone know whatelse i can do? before i send it back for a refund in the morning. When i override it using the ambit tool, i can use it... but only at my normal speeds. Please help quickly  |

That sounds like the TFTP address is wrong, assuming you have a good signal going to it.

You will only have a maximum of 2 TFTP servers in your area, usually only 1 that works properly. If you have more than 2 TFTP server addresses, then you have ones from outside your area and they won't work - just like MAC's from outside your area won't work.
