I setup ProgDVB and a tt c-1500 card as is being recommended on this site and had great initial success with finding channels and viewing them. Then for some unknown reason ( Ok, I love to tinker with things) I installed DVB dream, and ran a channel scan in DVB dream but found nothing ; so I uninstalled DVB Dream. However, since then ProgDVB failed to output any video, so I uninstalled and then re-installed ProgDVB - but when I do a scan now I don't find any channels whatsoever, the scan takes literally seconds with no results, despite using the UK bruteforce file.
Any ideas? anyone had a similar experience? I am running this on Vista 32. |

theres no need for that, we have uk bruteforce files on here ![]() the only reason why you are having scanning issues is you are probably no selecting the right transponder file or you havent selected the right card in the diceq settings Last edited by the insaan; 23-02-08 at 10:49 AM. |

Sorry for the delay, been away for quite some time. Finally got around to working on the media centre this weekend. Nothing seemed to work, so I put a vanilla build of Vista 32 on the pc and installed dvbdream - the scan produced no results after 17 minutes, so I installed progDvb which found all the channels within 3 minutes.
Problem I have now is despite installing Vplug and updating the new keys ( via Bigmac) I still cannot access the locked channels. Will try to find the lates version of Vplug to see if tat makes any difference. |
