I am trying to set the net id on my v+ box after i have replaced the 512 chip, But for some reason it does not set it. I have got a 512 chip programmer an was thinking to simply just put a dump for my area on the chip which will work for me.
But i dont have a dump for my area. Does anyone have a dump for my area? (Morden,(TW) or Sutton/Mitchem)) Or does anyone know how to make one which you could tell me and i can atempt to make it Thankyou |

Can somone hit there box with an atmega with the netid set to 40979 and then use a 512 chip programmer and ponyprog to bring the file into their pc and give it to me so that i can paste it onto my 512 chip as i just cannot set the netid using the atmega163 nor a fun4.

I recon the numbers ares correct becuase i used a utility made by another forum were you enter your nagra serial number from the ack of the box and it converts that into your ird. The ird i got from that is the exact same one as i got from the card once unlooped.

have you tried all f on the chip ? Was the box originally from tw area, or ntl or cw, im wondering if it may be to do with latest updates, as a few people have had problems setting net id on sammy boxes from different areas, jimdefruit had a 2100 from ex cw and couldnt get it to set to ntl but in cw it set ok, maybe it needs something like the wembley trick where you reverse update to older version, im only guessing though.

I have noted that he box has CR4 installed on it. I dont know if that is a problem. I think the box came from a TW area. I am also in a TW area. The box is running v2.1.xx.
I dont know what else i can do. Please help me. Thankyou |

Does any one have a VI or VI+ membership over at datadrome?
I have found out that they are allowed to request for dumps for there areas and it will be provided to them. I request anyone with a vi or vi+ membership to for a dump for my area onbehalf of me. My area net id is 40979, and i would want my pin to be 0369. Thankyou in advance, I hope to hear good news from this. |
