If you bought the fixed dish kit, then it will be fine, you'll just have to manually adjust it if you want to change satellite.
If you bought the motorised kit, it would be usable if you were able to construct somehow a way of mounting and quicky adjusting for plumbness a vertical pole. Ideally, to save you unclamping the motor, it would be better if it rotated when you wanted it to too. That way setup could be quite quick, as you leave the dish elevation alone between setups. As I said before, the dual axis motorised systems are fairly expensive and often require specialist installation, so I don't think you've wasted your money, unless you really want to go down the gold-plated route. |
