NTL Card Question - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

I have done a lot of reading on here and decided to join to perhaps get advice from the many experts on here.

Up until last week the box worked fine and i could watch channels on there no problem, the problem i now have is that the box no comes up with a message saying i am not subscribed to this channel and please call a number.

I have a NTL box that came with an unlocked NTL card, the box has been modified and i know the key to the card ect.

My question is that i am able to find that i need to get a Infinity USB card programmer but what i do not know is what make or model the card is and what software i need also i am not sure what software i am supposed to reprogrammer the card with, the guy that used to do all this for me has moved away and hos mobile no longer works.

I have tried to use the search function but i am not having any luck so my questions are if you do not mind of course are,

Is the infinity programmer the correct thing for me to get?
What make is my card?
What software do i need to re-programmer the card?
What flash do i need to use to update and be able to re-use the card?

Any links ect will be useful.

Any advice or help would really be appreciated, thank you for taking the time to read this.

its all in front of your eyes, u need a programmer like the infinity, nagra 4.1 in downloads, programmer in phenix mode, u will know what card it is rom and rev, if card is still opened, it may just need expiry / rights dates fixed.

Sorry treat me link i am stupid as i am in this case but i thought the infinty unit was able to programe in phoneix mode i think?

cant explain anymore really, u need a programmer that has pheonix cability, open up ng 4.1 put card in and try and read it, then that will tell u what ur next course of action will be, if card is locked then u may need an unlooper, more expense or depending on what box u have there may be cheaper way pnp led simm or jtag.
