Starview2 FAQ? Is there one?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and have just bought a Starview 2 from ebay on the recommendation of a couple of colleagues at work.

Just wondered if there was a FAQ to setting up a starview2 or if anyone could post any links to helpful sites that will get my box up and running as quickly as possible.

I've done some searching on here, but becuase i'm a total novice i've not had any real luck finding anything. Probably because i don't really know what i should be searching for!

Don't know yet. I'm waiting for delivery at the moment though the ebay sellers account has been deleted which is all very suspicious......

Box turned up yesterday. Phew!

Installed it last night and it works brilliantly. However it did take me about 3 hours to set up the channel listings.

Couple of questions:

1. A lot of channels seem to appear on numerous channel numbers. Ie BBC one is available on about 10 channels. I assume that this is for the regional news etc. Is there any way of identifying the relevant channel for my area?

2. On some channels the programme schedule information doesn't seem to be available. Is there anything i can do about this?

Thats the way it goes with the box, not known for a great EPG or channel mapping, although the channel mapping has been resolved on The Starview 3 called The Box Super.
