Default Movie channels (in English)

Hi,

Of all the movie channels broadcasted on Hotbird & Astra 19.2E, which of them actually broadcast in English?

Just want to check whether getting a CAM & card is worthwhile for the films!

Ta!

Most of them do, but not all of the time, it varies. Often if the original audio was English then you might get it.

Thanks Robbo for the speedy reply!

I asked because each time I flick one of the German channels on (eg Anixe HD, ProSieben HD) they show a well known film but overdubbed in German!!!

I thought if all the 'premium' channels were the same it would be hardly worth investing in a card/cam.

Cheers again!

Most of the films have multiple soundtracks so you may have to change the audio to get the original english sound.

The channels that you mention almost never have an English audio track, but a lot of the Pr*m channels do have, all the sports channels, if there is an English team or event.

On a fair few of the channels on 1W have an English Audio track. The T*S Multichannels have English, if there is a film produced by English speaking countries on them.

There are a great deal of films, sports and even XXX, so I have been told, channels on, across a range of sats.

Very best regards Wez

As a newbie the following steps were of great use to me for films on premiere direkt:

Go to all the individual premiere direkt chhannels (not through the premiere direkt portal) and change each channels audio to german 2 (audio stream 2). Then every time you select a film in the portal, it will have english audio soundtrack, if available. Hope this is some help.
