Default High Definition

Hi

I currently have a eurovox which ive had for nearly 2 years.

I am desparate for a high definition version for one to come out.

I have been quoted £290 off the person I originally bought my box off, I paid £190 for my box at the time (I wish I knew more about them and would have saved cash!)

Currently my box needs updating since the epg doesnt work on it, is there a way of updating it too?

Cheers

Dont think there is a high def box out at the mo /euro

You need to tell us what box you have it might be the blue box you can update so your epg will work again

what is the box for over 200 quid with hdmi

Ill find out the box name and let u know. I dont really want to buy off him since I know he will be making a massive amount of cash. He charged me £190 or something for this box but Ive seen the same one on ebay for about £90!

I need a 2nd box for upstairs anyway. Any suggestions?

Some adverts on ebay claim that the boxes work anywhere in the UK!! How? Not everywhere has cable...

For the box to actually work, does the cable line need to be active? I,e Paying for the broadband or the basic tv service?

No, you don`t need to be subscribed to anything...... But I am told that they are now going aroung and closing peoples who are not actually active, whether that is true or not I don`t know...

Ive been paying the minimum tv subs for 2 years now. I thought the line actually needed to be active so that the cable works to get sky sports etc?

Hey guys, dunno if you've noticed but virgin dont exactly pack there channels with HD stuff.. so it would be a big waste of money (in my opinion) to pay loadsa cash for just a couple of HD channels..

Untill they get Sky One back, and in HD, and Sky Sports HD I dont see the point!
