Hi
One simple question If I buy a eurobox like Eurovox MaxV with "Ready flashed" feature... which are the steps to follow? Only scan channels? Do you recommend something like this for a newbie? I have only experience with D+ in Spain I am in Dublin. Thanks in advance |

That's certainly what happened in my case. I bought a eurovox and prepared myself to flash it myself (got all the software and read pages of instructions). But when it came all I needed to do was a powerscan. So I was up and running in half an hour.
Took me a little while to sort my favourites out mind, but you can do that later. |

If they are already flashed the best way is to factory reset to your area and full power scan. Then set the timezone and (if necessary) UHF Mode to PAL I, then re-boot the box.

it seems many are indebted to your knowledge and expertise here. ...just to clarify something for a newbie like myself....when you say factory reset to your area...do you mean just perform a factory reset? or is there anything else additional involved? <apologies, i have not yet got my eurovox, is hopefully arriving tomorrow, which will be ready to plug n play, and VM will be installed at the weekend>. just trying to work things out in advance to minimise any teething problems. cheers pablo |

You need EMU enabled Gravick:
To turn EMU on press menu, language settings, type 1968 on remote and enable emulator. Press blue button to save and exit. Exit again to view. Then to set box up as Lincsat says: Go into menu. then config. choose clear data. then choose factory default. choose either 6952 or 6887. then click ok to set to factory default. then do power scan.(set to full) if 1 dont work try the other. and make sure cable lead is plugged into RF in. ![]() |

just to update this thread...
on my (plug and play) eurovox, i didn't need to follow the above detailed instructions, just a power scan worked for me. though did need to refer here to work out the "please wait, updating code" message on non-free channels. but then all sorted. v happy :-) cheers pablo |
