noob question for webstar 2100

right, im looking to 'enhance' my cable modem.

got the tools and the modem and the software.

the only thing i'm missing is a MAC address to clone

it says that i need to get one ideally from another sub network....

...would one from the other side of the mersey be in a different network??


soz if this is not discussible (?) i just couldnt find an answer thru the search function

you need to go to a m8s house about 5 miles away who has a cable modem from virgin. then run dhcp force on there computer, wait about 1hour then you should see some mac in the program. thats it. use them....
