Default Recording from Eurovox

Hi all,

I have just had a V**gin plus box installed and I was wondering if it is possible to record FROM my Eurovox onto the hard drive of the V-box? or would I have to also buy a seperate hard-drive recorder?

I also seem to have lost some of my sports and movie channels since the V-box was installed, do I need to do a re-scan?

Thanks in advance.

You cannot record from eurovox onto the v+ box, and try a scan m8.

Thanks for that, I did a power scan last night and got everything back, plus a few extras too.

Regarding the recording bit, if I have to get a HDD recorder to record from the Eurovox, can I get any recorder? will they all work the same and can they be set to record when you are out etc.....?

Thanks again.

i dont own 1 but you will need an analogue hdd-pvr and not 1 with freeview. As for recording while your out it will be a matter of setting the timer on your eurovox for the channels/programmes you want to watch and also setting the timer to record on the pvr. Not an ideal setup but will work ok once you've sussed it. And remember the eurovox with integrated pvr is soon to be released.

A PVR is a personal video recorder, similar to SKY + and Virgin plus.
A Eurovox, with an integrated PVR would mean you wouldn't have to buy a separate one to record your programmes.
