Same channels different rooms

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this for me at all?

A friend of mine used to have Sky, he had co-ax comming from the RF out on the sky box joined to a 6 way splitter which in turn connected to various TVs around the house so he could watch whatever was being watched in the living room

Hes now got a starview, hes taken the co-ax out of the RF out on the sky box and stuck it in the back of the starview, although the starview is working fine in the living room he cant get a picture on any of the other TVs....... anyone got any ideas why this is?

could it be solved by running a scart from the starview into an old VCR and connecting the co-ax to the RF out on the back of that instead?

Hi just back from the cold, Very easy to do that conect the scart star to my Sly then take the second output RF(12V) to a rf-spliter powered and run rf cable to 2nd room-3rd rom etc.
also using a digital rf av transmiter/reciver from Map...g conected to the dvd writer which conect to star by scart.

One very basic question, Did you try to retune your other telly's as the box is changed and so most likely the output channel frequency will be changed as well.
