which console is better to play on

hello everyone on Techwatch just like to do this poll thingy to see which console is the best to go on wheather it is Pc and Laptop,Ps3,Nintendo Wii or the XBox 360 and the reasons why the console is well better

Well it all depends on what your "gaming" style is..I have a 360, PS3 and a Wii (I'm just a big kid) and to be honest the consoles I play the most are the PS3 and Wii.

You need to look at what type of gamer and the audience for the machine are if you are thinking of buying a console. I had the 360 from launch day and there are some great games out there but in most cases, games are cross-platform, very rarely do you get a game that is for one console only, of course there are exceptions to this but these games are usually few and far between and in some cases, a let down (Halo 3 for 360, too much hype not enough substance).

I got the PS3 due to its blu-ray ability, this makes it in my view, well worth the money, especially if you have a HDTV. The games too are getting better and of course the game choice has caught up with the 360.

The Wii is a great all round family console, some great games and using the Wii remotes is fun, yes it doesnt have HD graphics at 1080p but who cares, the games out there are a lot of fun..

So if you love movies, love shooters and see yourself as a serious gamer, go with the PS3 over the 360.. just because of the blu-ray capability's, when it comes down to games, both consoles produce similar performance..

If it's a family console you are looking for then do consider the Wii.. lot's of fun for the kiddies and the grown up kiddies in the family..

thing is, most ppl will vote for the consol they have, that dont mean its the best. ive had ps3 and xbox 360, played wii, have games on pc also. now if its for playing games, then the xbox360 wins for me hands down, i also play 99% of my time online, and sony,wii etc cant match the xbox for this, i find the wii a babies toy! no offence intended. i find the games on 360 the most grown up out of all the big boys. if i wanted a cheap blu ray player and consol, then i would have, and kept the ps3 and voted for that. but the poll was the best for playing games, so its 360 all the way for me
