yes but yu have to pay for murdoch sports. what looks more interesting is the olympics coverage from BBC live and Eurosport will prob have a dedicated channel just for the Olympics on HD. and offcourse soon prob next year all the FA cup matches on BBC will be on HD. So i know where i can tell sky to put there new HD channels (in the bin ! with the rest of the crap ) By the way did the forum know that Thomas Crapper invented the modern toilet system. Just think without him we be going to the nearest tree to do a whatever and getting a bunch of stinging nettles in a very sore place.

Why would anyone want Sly sports when all they have on is rubbish. On Monday night they did not even have City v Everton game on, it was, however, on Pr*m.

Sly sports has no 3PM games on a Sat and loads of continental providers have.

I am very glad that I have stopped paying them for their cr*p.

I am not going into a debate if I support SKY or not, because simply I do, where else would you find actual HD content elsewhere, no where.

Great it was on Prem good for you, do I care not really, and anyway it will be in the same NDS situation as SKY sooner or later.

And dont get me started on DigiALB from what ive seen from its free to air periods its beyond bad, who wants to watch in 4:3 pixel ridden, and your paying for it?

I just dont see the point bitching on a forum if you think SKY is a rip off, its not going to get anywhere.

Eurosports HD channel (when it launches) will certainkly be scrambled as part of a Sky UK package - theres absolutely no way it will be fta

And you cant blame Sky that theres no 3pm football on. It not their fault (for once) Blame lies fairly and squarely in the hands of the Football Association. They forbid 3pm games from being on the tv to protect live attendances at football matches - especially for the lower league clubs.

Im sure Sky UK would be delighted to be ableto show 4 or 5 prem games on a Saturday afternoon....

As has been said, by remlap, I see no point in starting anything on here as to the merits or otherwise of Sly. I, for one, have better things to do with my time, helping others on here for a start.

Sorry to miss on them new channels, but I can`t afford Sly anyway. Too much money. Would be nice to have some extra HD channels but I think the only option for me is to wait for bbc to raise their game and deliver something for that bloody 135 quid a year Im paying.

The BBC/Sky contract with the FA ends with this year's FA Cup Final. It's Setanta/ITV from the 2008/2009 season.
