Not possible with Sly, You either pay or do without.

Although some of the channels may be available on other satellites, are there any channels you are particularly interested in?

Hi mate,
This section is for introducing yourself to the forum. Your post would be seen by more people if you had posted it in the satellite for beginners.

To answer your question, if there were such a box we would all have one, But I feel that the cost of such a box would be so great that it would be cheaper to pay poor old Rupert his money.

You will get from Sly what you pay Sly for, if you pay them nothing you get nothing.

Very best regards Wez

The other thing to add is that even if one cancels the Sky subscription one will nevertheless still be able to watch the several free channels/non-subscription channels on the 'Sky' satellite at 28e.

Yes good point bigtee, If you take your card out of your box for a moment vanders, what you could still watch if you cancelled is what can watch without the card, plus any FTV (Freesat from Sky) channels.
