Question Psp pandora battery concern

Hi all,
I recently picked up a psp slim (3.80 firmware) in the hope of having the firmware upgraded to something a little more useful but find myself in need of a little advice.
Has anyone here had any success in upgrading a slim while using vista?
(I've borrowed a pandora battery but finding it almost impossible to run any of the scripts I've found successfully)

to make the magic memory card on vista do this

Even though you have an admin account, Windows wont run CMD as Admin.
You're meant to go C:/Windows/System32 > Rightclick on CMD and "Run as Admin"

Skip the mspformat.exe step.
Type into CMD - CD C:/ (or where ever your pandora files are)
Type into CMD - Format X: /FS:FAT
After format type into CMD - msinst.exe X msipl.bin

If you dont rightlcick and "Run as Admin" on CMD, then you wil get a "Cant open Drive" error when installing the IPL. Also, mspformat.exe is not compatible with widows vista but a normal format works just as well.

Thanks skweezer. I couldn't get it to work and had to resort to a friends version of XP in the end. Again, thanks for the help and I'm sure it'll help others out there.
