Default Peaa?

Hi All
Can anyone tell me what PEAA is whan it flashes up on my Euro vox 2008.

The reason i ask is some of my channels have gone off and when i try to scan it will get half way through flash up PEAA and go off with out the scan...
It does this on a power scan too.

Ive put it back to factory settings and re flashed the box a couple of times (beta 2) but cant seem to get it to finish scanning...

Help would be appriciated

PEAA is a protection error and usually occurs if wrong firmware has been flashed to the box. Are you sure it is a genuine eurovox max-v and not a clone, where did you buy it from and if from ebay which seller ?. If you are sure its genuine double check the firmware (make sure you unzip/extract the file first) and pm me your email addy and i'll send you some firmwares to try.

Cheers GF you have pm
I did get it off ebay from a guy called skybossuk.
How can you tell if its a clone?
This did start happening with the original firmware it came with.
It has scanned now and i have my channels back on but it took countless tries over about 3 hours which is a bit of a ball ache more than anything...

It just so happens i got three of these boxes and one of the others went off and wont come back on.. he said there doesn't look like theres any power??
Any ideas (he's checked the plug fuse)

there clones m8 skybossuk is a well known clone seller. the 1 with no power needs jtagged do a search on it m8 its been well discussed here. i'll send you firmware to try on them but in future m8 buy safe from a good dealer like lincsat on here or awsatellites and if buying from ebay check their feedback as skybossuk's feedback would have alerted you that it is clones he sells.
