Ok guys need some help here, I've aquired a 2100c :-),I need a bit of advice on how to get IRD and Box Key, I will then be getting a programmer + funcards, I've cut the talkback. the card that was with the box has been hit by the cc.

you can get bk and ird off the card using a unlooper and files but virgin starting to put false keys on the cards, so you will have to use jtag for some boxes and ledd simm for other

I would like to try the card method first (complete novice) I do know the BK is false on the cc card that was with the box and the Ird was 8 zeros, so can anyone give me advice as to what card etc I need, been reading ciwan's guide for funcard 4.

Yes you will need a funcard unless you can read the existing card or unloop it and rewrite it.
The easiest way to go is to get a jtag unit, a usb phoenix programmer and a fun card and enjoy yourself.
