I recently purchased a top quality Sling Box, installed it in London. Then tried it out in Norway during a visit, what I found was that when you change the chanells in Norway, they also change in London.
This is not satisfactory.
Anyone out there with any bright Ideas to correct this please?

I'm confused

What is the problem?

The slingbox is supposed to change channels on the AV source at the remote location. How else would you be able to view different channels?

Of course they do - thets how they work. If you want to watch 2 sets of channels you will need a second source

This is seen to be interesting. But, what I believe you can watch more than one channel at the same time.

What you need to do:
You need to create a small application that allows you to download the content from the slingbox host. And you need to create a second application to ensure that you can watch the programming but the first thing you need to do on a small application you must ensure that you make a copy of the content and pass on to the applications.

You also need to create remote control that allows you to change the content of the channels. On the second application you need to create, you can make a second copy so it would means then you could watch two channels at the same time.

Sounds horribly complicated. Far easier to use the built in FreeView DTT player!

Yes, the UK version has a DVB-T tuner so as AS said, you could use this.
I have a Slingbox set up and have two $ky boxes. One dedicated for the Sling only.
