Netgear DG834N Stopped Broadcasting - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi all, I have been using a Netgear DG834N since last June and have been really happy with it until yesterday when the wireless light turned off and everyone wirelessley connected lost their internet. Nothing has been changed on the router settings, its just stopped broadcasting as far as I can tell.
Has anyone else had problems like this and does it just mean a trip to PC World to change the thing? Hope they don't need a receipt lol.

i have had similar problems withthe older netger routers, there is a little round reset switch at the back of the router, keep this pressed for 10 seconds to reset the router and then set it up again.

i have to do this every few months

Thanks insaan, I did try that but didn't make a difference. Just had to put all my setting back in. It deffo seems like a hardware problem to me

Check the support website as new firmware might be available to rectify the problem

cheers daithi, it was the most recent firmware that was on the router so i took it back to shop and they changed it no probs.
