I have recently been downloading movies and then converting the AVI files to DVD using the cucusoft Converter.

I am converting and burning them fine but they only seem to play on certain DVD players. I'm not to fussed because they work fine on mine but I would like to know if it is the other DVD players or is it to do with the types of files or converter I am using? If you have any advice on how to get them to play on all DVD players for future use that would be great.

Hi mate, I don' know if this will help or not, but when I copy a DVD from the HDD on my DVD recorder I need to finalize it before it will work on another DVD.

I did burn a few on the laptop, running Vista and was asked something like did I want to enable this disk to play in other equipment. I think that there is a box somewhere up on the top left that you open with a drop down list, but I am not sure which it is, in there you should fine a box to let you make the disk play in other equipment.
