Have been wondering for quite a while what is actually so good about them linux boxes???? Could someone please tell me what is working ( channels packages etc)using that box? I know it sounds like complete idiots question, but everybody made a start somewhere and so would I if I knew where to start and what is achievable if /when I finally get there. If its not suitable for open forum

Looks like at the end of the day I`ve managed to answer my silly questions myself, by the way of sniffing the goodies (software available, channels lists etc). Gonna choose Dreambox for now though
