You are the adventurous one robbo, i have always had the notion of having a go, but like you it is the dish size that bu**ers it.
I don't think the size of dish would be worth it, for just a few footy games. I think your best bet at the moment would be to go for a cheap Technomate receiver, that can be patched, that way when the channels do change to N3, you can save up for your Dreambox and have it for when the hack for N3 becomes public. Just my thoughts on what would get you footy now, for a reasonable cost. Very best regards Wez

Very true robbo, but they were gone long time before and we got them back again. There will be some other channels and encryptions hacked anyway.
As a point of intrest robbo, how long is it now since Seca was hacked and is it all that secure or it is a case that there is not that much on it now to bother about hacking it? It used to be good in the old days. Very best regards Wez

Thanks robbo, you got to be a very fast learner, you have picked up some stuff in a short time then mate, fair play to you.
We will always have something to look at, even if it is free to air, but we will come out on top in the end. Very best regards Wez

Hi thered, You must remember that a LNB f will not allow you to receive anything other than c Band signals and there are not that many of them that would suit the beginner or average enthusiast. I reckon that it would be a big waste of money for you. With a LNB f you will not receive any of the satellites you are now. So you need to weigh up the costs, and remember that the dish with the LNB f on will only be any good for C Band transmissions, which to me seems a waste of a 1.2Mtr dish.
Very best regards Wez

![]() I think you'll find that an LNBF is the proper term for the normal LNBs that most of us use, the F stands for 'Feedhorn' i.e it is integrated with the LNB. LNBF's can be C or Ku band. |
