hi,

the VM box they supplied is a "Scientific Atlanta" (????), Model "Explorer 4000DVB", it looks brand new but interestingly on the bottom, it says the date manufactured was 12/03/2003 (how up to the minute!).

do you think i can ask for a more up to date unit? ie have i been fobbed off with out of date kit?

hear is 1, when you get your modem dont register it. just chip it, its not in your name them coz its not been setup.. then wait till you get your bill then phone up and complane, (WHY HAVE YOU CHARGED ME FOR BROADBAND WHEN I HAVE NOT GOT IT...) and becoz you have not registered it its not in there system.. then thay take it of your accound and thats the end of it, free broadband!!
