Default Wind turbine self destructs

The braking mechanism failed and the turbine shook itself to pieces....

Fortunately nobody was hurt in this spectacular incident

A few have gone the same way in Nth Wales, not as safe as first thought, anyone with a spare piece of land, the yearly rent for each
is between £4k up to £8k for the big ones, so a wind farm is a better bet than a moo cow empire.

More a breaking system than a braking system.

Turbines always have been reliant on extra safety systems. The inherent turbine ambition is to speed up to self destruction.

I can't see these videos - I just get a blue Q with a question mark inside. I just updated to the latest QT player - 7.4.1 - same result. Do I need any extra plugins or is it a setting in XP/IE7?

We have some Blackpool Tower size ones around here, well 20 miles away
as the birds fly(ops)

The dam things are visible from my home, MANWEB tried to trial one on a hill two miles away. thanks to an ex MOD guy, who explained at the appeal if the turbine was sited over the village, it would effect tv terrestrial reception, which in fact was correct, trial cancelled.

To me TV is better than looking at those dam windmills, which do make
a big noise, this time we have Black Grouse a protected bird, of which
many other birds are killed on wind farms, have a walk around a wind farm, and see the amount of birds killed, mind you fox lovers like wind farms.
