Favorite PC, HPvsDell - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Which to you prefer, HP or Dell. Personally i love the HP but alot of people say Dell is better. I have had a bad experance with Dell's service people in the past where it took more than 6 weeks for them to fix my computer. Which was a downside of our lives for awhile since much i do is on the computer.

So i have a HP now, whats your opinion?

Definately HP, I have a HP desktop and its excellent for multimedia, I haven't had any problems with it yet so I haven't had to contact customer services or anything. My friend has a Dell laptop and I don't think hes had any problems with his, but I still say HP

Definately HP, I had an HP once and it was pretty good... lasted me a while... I would probably never buy a package deal PC of any kind again though. I'd much rather go for the custom build.

I'm to cheap to go for cutom built, but when i got the money i might. I'm glad that people agree with me =)
