Sorry chaps, I know this question would have been covered to death. It's a bit of a stupid question.
My computer is upstairs, Dbox is downstairs, I'm just wondering if I have to keep the dbox in the same postion when I'm flashing it or can I just move it upstairs with only the power lead? |

You can move it to the PC. When flashing with IFA and using both a crossover Network cable and Null-Modem cable, you will get a status indication on your PC so you will know when it's done.

I did this just the other day, don't even need the null modem cable, although I understand the success rate with one is higher, simply put the crossover cable between PC & dbox and you're off, will of course need the power lead but you don't need to see anything on the TV. The LCD screen will say FLASHING during and FLASHING COMPLETE once done.
