Default New Exciting LT Image

The next big advancement in the Dreambox Enigma 2 image development is appearing soon. Have a look at the linked presentation for some very interesting info.

YouTube - NEW LT IMAGE FOURTH REVOLUTION

Makes you want a 7025 don't it. Or even better a DMM8000

It seems to be a very good image, the best for the 7025, by miles, according to the chat on another forum. I can watch the video of it as my miserly connection speed will not allow me to. I look forward to getting it as soon as it is released.

BTW Jim I have gone back to using the LT Third Challenge again, but am still not getting all the skins I want on it. I did FTP them to temp and tried to install them with manual install, but they do not appear anywhere.

FORD if you got any ideas about what I am doing wrong let me know please.

Very best regards Wez

I've seen it working in the flesh, Its an awsome piece of software.

Some of the features it has is like nothing that has ever been seen before on the 7025 The media player bit on it is something else

As far as i am aware there is no fixed release date as of yet but i'm lead to believe it will be within the next month

Please do not email or MSN the authors trying to get the software before its release date because you won't, and don't ask me either as i don't have access to a copy and even if i did i wouldn't let it out in public out of respect for the autors who have worked so hard to create this masterpiece

So whos going out to buy a 7025 then

I'm sure this will spread extremely fast once its been released

I have managed to download the video, from U Tube, using a download utility for the job, am now downloading the player to play the damned thing. The files are in a FLV version and I need the proper player to play them. I will at least see the video at last.

Very best regards Wez

Got to say that all that has been said about this new image is very true, it looks to be the best ever image for any box ever. I am now really looking forward to using it. The media player looks great and it has made me think just why I have not got all my music and pictures on my 7025 at the moment. I shall get them on to my HDD very soon, I got some very nice pics of my flowers, snow on the mountains, birds feeding and my dishes today.

We owe the lads at the LT factory a huge thank-you for all their efforts.

Very best regards Wez

Howdy.

Is this img only for the 7025 or will it work on the 7000?

Regards.

Sorry barr, its only for the Enigma2 Dreamboxes. However, all the media centre bits other than the Internet playing can be done already on the 7000.

Use the Jukebox plugin and put all your music collection onto your hard drive as mp3 and off you go.

I've now installed this image on my 7025, and so far it seems absolutely excellent - the new Media Center looks especially promising. However, the main test for me, over the next few days, will be to see how stable it is (I tried out the previous LT image and gave up on it because of frequent crashes - I guess I'd been a bit spoiled by the supremely stable Gemini).
