Are you using a Sky box, or FTA, I presume you mean scan Astra 28
for new channels?

We have a SKY box but cannot see anything on the box, or remote that looks likely to be a scan, may be we are a bit old in the tooth!!

I am sure there is, I dont have a Sky box due to personal reasons, Ill put out a shout for you. Look out for Anglosat & Kerrywez,they have all the answers

You shouldn't need to scan for new channels on a Sky box as the electronic programe guide should update automatically.

Has the box been disconnected for a while?
What do you think you are missing?

You CANT scan for new channels in the same way you can with a non sky box. The best you can do is "Add Channels" one tedious frequency at a time

Nah - they wont let me mod on there - its useful for keeping up with the new sky channels though
