You havent got it aligned properly.

Ignore the strength - its always the quality reading which is the important one.

We need some info about the equipment you are using - none of us are mind readers

What satellite are you trying to receive from?
What is your approx location?
What receiver do you have?
What size dish do you have?
Do you have a clear view to the satellite you want?

Have you looked on Satellite Dish Pointer / Alignment Calculator with Google Maps

The dish has to be very precisely aligned both azimuth and elevation so that it points at your chosen satellite, within a degree or so. If it is not you get bu99er all signal quality.

You're not on Turksat 42e by any chance? I get the same on one transponder, even though I know that is not correct. I get a good picture which wouldn't be watchable with 25% quality. The rest of the transponders are strong, just this one transponder which is weird.

Have you read one of the motor setup guides in the FAQs section?

Which satellite are you trying to do the initial alignment on, and where are you.?
