Default samsung 50" PS50Q97

hi there...

just wondering what the best picture settings are for this tv...

the standard settings for the contrast had it at 80 i read that it was better for the contrast to be 50...

are there any other tips to help me...

The truth is there is no true setting for this or any HD TV. I work in the retail industry and have done for 4 years for a prestige company who sell Hi-End Home Entertainment equipment.

My advise to all the customers whom buy a HD TV and ask whats the best setting is that to set it to what you see seems correct to you. Everybody's vision is different and what I may find good, someone may find not good, etc etc

The reason why you have read somewhere the setting of the Samsung Plasma should be set to a lower contrast ratio is more to stop the screen from suffering any screen burn.
