New to Sat Alsat Registration Help please - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

I have had for years a fixed dish setup so i have now after all this time, just got a New Technomate 6900 Motorised System, so it is all new to me. Engineer said i should Register with Alsat to download new patches, which he showed me how. I have since tried and tried to Register with Alsat, followed the registration form questions/security etc and clicked toregister. It stated that an email would be sent to my own emaul address for verification before i can use the site. I have received nothing. I have constantly sent emails to them but no reply. I have tried tolog on but the site wont let me/tried reregisbut site wont let me, anybody know if theres is a problem with this web site. Thanks

What makes you think we can help with a forum thats nothing to do with us and bans anyone who even mentions other forums.

However one obvious question - Are you using a hotmail account by any chance? -many sites dont allow registrations from webmail, although quite what the alsat situation is I have no idea - I wouldnt touch them with a 40 foot bargepole.

Its just that lloking through the Web and seen this site and thought it was very good and that maybe some other members might use Alsat. As i say, i am a novice to all this so having to learn, only going by what the engineersaid, who fitted the system up. Is ther anywhere else i can get patches from for the technomate 6900. Thanks

I can't help you either as i was banned from Alsat forum as well for mentioning some product.

It worked Ok last time I visited there although I don't go there very often. Try a different email address.

Tryed anotherb email address, just the same, strange, as i have just Registered to this site today. Tryed canceling my virus software even and that did not work either.

I had the same problem with that forum yesterday. Maybe they are having problems sending emails to new people
