Hello all
I have a Dreambox 7020 and am trying to setup 2 dishes on a Globsat 2 way disceq switch. I have a 1 meter dish with a GBsat motor connected to lnb 1 on the switch and a minidish on lnb 2. The satellite configuration on the Dreambox is setup so the motor is A/A and the minidish is A/B. Or so i think. Now i can get the motorised dish to work fine but it will not switch to the other when selecting those channels. Can anybody tell me what is wrong? Hope this is enough info. Cheers |

Thanks for the fast reply robbo.
I cannot do that mate as the static dish is on the wall of the house and the motorised down the end of the garden. I seem to be getting an intermitant signal like the sky dish is not aligned properly. It has a quad lnb on it with one cable going to the bed room and another into the switch and to the dreambox. The 2 others are free. I will check the alignment tomorrow and make sure its ok. thanks again |

It sounds like the same problem I have sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have been in touch with technomate who make my switch and they say it could be faulty and have offered to replace it. Try another switch if possible.

Hello
I have switched the settings over to 2 satellites on disceq and it works fine. It seems to be a problem when the motor is in operation. Cheers |

Apart from checking the cables carefully, your only option appears to be to try another switch as jonty suggested. If that does't work it must be a problem with the receiver or settings.

Hello
Thanks for the help once again. I have now connected the lnb straight through without the motor and am still having weird problems. I can only pick up the spanish channels when doing a transponder scan on Astra but nothing else. Also each input on the switch works fine on their own. |
