sl65/12 HELP !!

ok guys can i just say what a great site this is but i need help
cos iam thik lol

i have a sl65/12 for my truck and travel round uk ...i noticed that i can't get channel 4,5,five us cos they are locked

so far so good !! so i download trueman 1.3.78 and have uploaded that ok
it works but what iam asking is there another program i need so i can get these locked channels

ps not tested trueman for channels yet either so will trueman 78 let me have these channels)

It is not possible to get those channels on your receiver whatever you do right now.

They are currently encrypted in NDS videoguard (by Sky) and need a Sky card and compatible box to decode. Yours isn't compatible.

Round about May time when Freesat is due to launch it is possible that ch4 will become FTA, but this is not confirmed. Although it is expected to go FTA when their encryption contract with Sky ends a bit later on in the year.

A sky dodgybox is the easiest way to get thos channels right now, coupled with a FreesatfromSky card.

i do hav a sky box and card from when i was with sky

that was abt 2 yrs ago think i might try that.. is there any updates anything i should do to that box think its a pace 1

Yes, if it has not been used for a while the software is bound to need updating, the card will most certainly be inactive too. I suggest you make a new thread in the Sky section, as I don't know how to do it but someone else will.
