Talking Newbee Help

Hello,

Tag Screwy age 36 from Fife Scotland.

I have just joined the forums and founds loads of info on here. However I have VM (Fife Scotland) broadband, phone and basic tv package. I am looking to get a new box for my cables system but i am unsure of where to get one and which one to go for? I have found the following on ebay and wondered if they were any good? Also how do you know if the box is a clone? Are these things easy to update etc?

Thanks for the help folks

Screwy.
ebay item no. 280207867267 and 300205375242
sorry no direct link as i am not allowed to post links yet. ( hopefully i'll get my 10 posts soon.)

Thanks for the info got my box from lincsat this morning. Plugged in scanned for channels and away it went.

Now just to figure out how to move the channels to better number and hide move adult channels away from the kids view etc.

The kids should be in bed when the adult channels are broadcasting but seriously if you go into the menu, then into preferences there is a parental lock facilty that you can use
