Hi

I am a newbie on this forum and would just like to clarify if live links are allowed or not.

Have read the rules and see that certain live links are allowed but also read a post to which kerrywez replied with a non live link stating that live links were no longer allowed.

So just put me straight on that one as I usually put a _ before my links on other forums

If it is a link to another post on the forum, it is ok live. If it is a link to another forum then if in doubt put an underscore at the beginning.

Dunno about the others but how I tend to work live links is this:

- a link to a legit site is always ok

- a link to another forum is not allowed

- links to anything even remotely dodgy (warez etc) is definitley not allowed.

Always allowing for the fact that if Im tired all rules above are negotiable and open to interpretation if Im zonked out

At the end of the day it is just common sense, no links to dodgy or chancy sites or other forums.
