Satellite Dbox2? - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi Guys,

I have been given a Nokia Dbox2 to try and fix as i have done so with many other Dbox2's for Cable!
When i go to the service scan menu i get satellite info, so is this a satellite Dbox2?
(am using commando 9 image)
Is there another way i can tell?
And also do i need different images etc?

All help appreciated

No idea, but i have deleted the duplicate thread you posted in the Nokia section. Duplicate posts are frowned upon here, so it would be appreciated if you don't do it again

It's most likely either a Satellite box or a cable box with a goosed tuner.

Are there different image types specifically for satellite?
If so, could you possibly reccommend any?
