If you look on lyngsat, you will see in one of the right hand columns VPID,APID and some other PIDs.

The VPID is for Video Program ID, the A is for Audio, I don't know what the others are. But anyway the ID is a number and you can change it on the receiver, usually there is also an audio button to press, which does the same thing.

Incidently,it is also possible to select video from one channel and audio from a completely different one, as long as its on the same transponder. Why would anyone want to do this I don't know, but I have.

ok thanks for the info, like i say will be up and running abt june time hopefully . Im looking at a motorised dish, so will members help me with best place on the house etc if i posted pics of the house etc, i back on to south face garden and im not far from the meridian line so hopefully it will make it abit easier

A south facing wall is the easiest place, being on the meridian does not make it any easier. It does however make it easier to understand, as the satellite postitions match the motor turning angle roughly.
