why is sky so hard to hack

and why dont others use their enkryptoin methods if its so good

Basically most peope are too s**t scared to even attempt to break it. The last guy that broke NDS (NDS1) is still inside now. Sky & NDS will throw as much money, time and resorces to get a conviction. They are ruthless

The last time NDS was broken was about 5-10 years ago when Sky did that big card swap out from the light blue card to the dark blue one with the yellow house on it

There is talk on some forums that someone has cracked NDS2 but i doubt if it will ever be made public.

The reason other proviers don't use NDS is probably due to contractual obligations and the fact that NDS is probably one of if not the most expensive encryption systems on the market

It probably will fall eventually but you can guarentee that NDS3 is already waiting to take its place

If it did fall it would probably only be open for a very short time

NDS is the Israeli company that develops the Videoguard encryption used by Sky UK.

Quite a few other companies use NDS these days - Premiere are rumoured to be going over to it later this year.

what sat is premier on and what content does it have ? will be on me new 1st system in summer so lookin at what i will get.

Not so.

A fair proportion of prgrammes have English Audio tucked away there, on a different data stream.

All satellite boxes have the ability to select a different audio stream as far as I know (I exclude Sky dodgyboxes, as I don't know about them). The other audio's have a different APID.
