The best way is from the PC Direct to d-box with crossover cable. IFA sometimes struggles to flash through a router.

If you are connecting PC to Dbox directly then it must be a crossover cable. If you are using a router in the middle then the router will cross the connection and so a straight through cable needs to be used NOT a crossover.
