Talking Guide To Put Music, Themes,Photos, & Video Onto PSP - For All Newcomers To The PSP

This thread is for all Newcomers to The PSP World who dont know how to put any Media on their meory sticks this is the guide to help u learn how.

Step 1: Have your PSP connected to your PC

Step 2: To Open PSP folder go to Start then Run when its up type F:\ or go to My Computer & select Removable Disk F:\ & The PSPs folder should open up

Step 3: Make a folders for each Media in all caps one for THEMES another for MUSIC another for PICTURES/PHOTOS inside the PSP Memory Stick


Now this section tells u how to put the file on your PSP

Step 1: Connect PSP to PC
Step 2: Open your Folder (where ever your Files are stored on your PC)
Step 3: Once there select the files u want (to select multiple files hold the ctrl key)
Step 4: Once that is done look to the left hand side & click the copy selected items button in the folder, a box should appear scroll down & click removable Disk F:\ another folder shoudl open up in the column click the folder the file belongs to such as themes in the THEME folder & ect then click copy at the bottom of the box.

& there u have it all your media should be on the Memory Stick, simple right!

This section tells u how to put Videos on your PSP (Note: U might need PSP Media Manager for this)

Step 1: Open up Media Manager, Once its open The Video Tab should be automatically open
Step 2: Look at the top for the button that says "Add New Media To Library" Click It
Step 3: Once u have clicked it a box shall open up there u look for the folder that has your video stored
Step 4: Once u have found the folder click it then click open your videos should show up
Step 5: Hold down the left button on your mouse (start from bottom) scroll up till all the files r highlited then over to get the rest
Step 6: Click open and they should be in the Library
Step 7: Choose which files u want (hold ctrl to select multiple files)
Step 8: Once thats done click copy and the video should start to copy to the PSP MP_ROOT folder Formating them into other files (Note: Videos Copy Time depend on how large the video Memory is and/or length)

& there u have it the videos should be straight on your PSP

(Note: To get High Quality Video or Clear select these settings before u copy Video for Quality choose Maximum, for Screen Size Choose wutever u see fit, for Encoding choose AVC.)

good post that there 007bond this thread as you say will definately help members with their psp problems as mentioned and im just saying this now if any problems with setting up anything to do with psp media and all of that stuff then look at this thread as i gather all of the help to do with the media is on this thread
