With the latest software 3.9.1 the receiver can now also unscramble about 20 cabo channels with more to follow. Now on auto key 66.

Now supports newcamd with 3 servers, wizard no longer sell the maxxx1000 instead sells the protek, have noted they all use the same software and unscramble same channels.

Wot are the risks, well the server may go down donot think that will happen the innovative which is a wizard receiver is still going strong after 18 months. If it does happen you still have a receiver with card reader and a receiver you can enter codes by remote, also can still be used for c/s.

Well pleased with a very stable receiver.

How likely is it that the server goes down ? and wont the receiver just connect to another one ?

I changed my server to a eu nano server via software can also change it to a asia server ( have not tested file ).

Wizard has stopped selling the innovative now but server is still working and has been for last 15 months, so cannot see the server of a newer receiver going down.

I meant patching the tm1500ci+

there is a new lan receiver out

http://cgi.ebay.ie/PROTEK-9600IP-CAR...QQcmdZViewItem

This is supposed to replace the maxx 1000 one . Heard nothing about the server going down. If it goes down can you not just connect to another one with the same box ?
