Does anyone have any knowledge of this working? I read some stuff about it on the net but it was mainly Linux focused.
Apparently you can use VLC as a capture device and stream video ond audio over the net. This means I could in theory send tv to other PCs in my house or to a friend. |

When I tried it with progdvb I could only broadcast whichever channel I was watching but it did work. If I remember right you have to make sure that when you install progdvb you put a tick in the progdvb server module. I know there is also a vlc part in dvbdream but haven't tried it yet
