Is it possible to update my system?

I have a motorised dish and an SAB Explorer CISC receiver that i use to watch as much live footie as possible. I can get Hotbird and have had cards for ART in the past, i now have a card for DigitAlb tv for my footie, now some games i want to watch are on SuperSport(Hellas), is there anyway to get this channel unscrambled. When i first got this system the bloke i got it off updated my software so i could get premiere sport portal, but i never got a choice of matches. Does anyone know what i need to do to get software updated or should i go back to the chap i got the system off and ask him. I really would like to be able to do this myself if that is possible. Do i need a better receiver?

As for unscrambling Nova channels, there is no way of doing it, but you might be able to get a card for it, not too sure though, as some providers will not sell outside their own country.

The thing about Pr*m Sports Portal is you get nothing in it, you need to hit a button on your remote to get the other channels which have the sport on them. In my case, the Green button is the one to hit when I am in the sports portal, I then get a choice of at least 3 channels. When you go to those channels you will need to change the audio from the German to the second German one then you will get the audio from the source country the sport is from.

I am sure that when you go to the site I pointed you to, above, you will need to register and then you will be able to find out which button you need to hit to get the choice of sports whilst in the sports portal.

Thanks for your help. Do you think it would be worth while me getting a different receiver you lot seem to have Dreamboxes etc etc.

You should be able to obtain a sub for Greek Nova for approx £800 a year.

Apperently Nova was obtainable with a Gamma card, which are as rare as rocking horse sh!t, The other means is card sharing. You won't find any software upgrades that will do it I believe. The Dreambox amongst others is able to card share, also the NanoXX and similar.
