Hi just got my new box today have powerscanned and updated scan but only picking up 229 channels - VM area motherwell scotland. A friend up the road is getting 400+ channels. Any idea how I find missing channels.

Please be gental as I am not a tech person so need simple to follow instructions

229 channels is about right I would say because thats about all thats broadcast ..I would think that most of the 400 your friend might have are probably just duplications and not needed...If you have all the channels you like why worry about it? I can safely say that he doesn't have 400 different channels ...most people average around the 200 mark ...

After a power scan I got 220 channels Including Radio channels but after removing duplicates & other crap now at 150.

same problem only 220 channels missing channels are MTV and a few kids stations
